Navratri and Diwali Dinner 2023
Chef's Flavours, Leicester
Leicester Charnwood Lions Club held our annual Navratri and Diwali Dinner at Chef’s Flavours, Leicester. Members, families and guests enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal prepared by the talented chefs, with musical entertainment provided by Raj Chavda.
Our guest speaker was Anita Rao, Manager of Wesley Hall Community Centre. She discussed the centre’s work in the Highfields area of Leicester, describing it as one of the oldest of its kind in Leicester that continues supporting the local community through volunteer assistance with daily activities and benefits navigation.
Wesley Hall operates a food bank serving less privileged individuals. The Lions Club made a donation to support this very worthy cause.
